Supporting students who have lost a parent in their pursuit of higher education.

Requirements

Selection Criteria

  • Completed application form

  • Personal statement (500–750 words)

  • Proof of parent’s death (death certificate, obituary, or letter from a school counselor)

  • Unofficial or official transcript (high school or college)

  • Proof of enrollment or acceptance into a qualifying program

  • Optional: Letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor

  • Verification of Parental Loss

  • Consideration of Financial Need
    Demonstrated financial hardship or limited access to funding for higher education.

  • Verification of Academic Progress
    A minimum GPA of 2.5 is recommended, but not required.

  • Review Personal Statement

  • Character & Community Involvement (Optional)
